10DLC Message Samples and Opt-In Descriptions

Message samples should resemble what recipients will actually receive: campaign identification, the intended subject matter, usable links, and the expected opt-out handling.

Useful registration samples

A sample is a description of a real program, not a place to promise outcomes or hide material parts of the workflow. Media and recurring updates should be represented when planned.

Putting the guide into practice

Draft samples for the actual message categories, then compare them with the signup disclosure and planned schedule. Remove placeholders before submitting them to a provider.

  • Campaign name
  • Realistic purpose
  • Link destination
  • Revocation flow

Limits and review decisions

Passing sample review does not authorize later messages with a materially different purpose or audience. Review changes before the program expands.
